A: Tallow is a purified, rendered fat from grass-fed cattle. It’s rich in skin-compatible fatty acids making it highly effective at moisturizing and supporting the skin barrier—especially for dry, sensitive, or aging skin.

Q: Will tallow clog my pores?
A: Tallow has a comedogenic rating of 1–2, meaning it has a low likelihood of clogging pores. It closely resembles human sebum and is generally well tolerated, even for acne-prone skin.

Q: Does it smell like beef?
A: No! Our tallow is gently rendered and blended with hemp seed oil and other clean botanical oils, which gives Dew Pure a soft, natural, earthy scent. There’s no “beefy” smell or heaviness. Most people describe it as light, neutral, or slightly herbal depending on the formula.

Q: Can I use it on both my face and body?
A: Yes! Our tallow balm is formulated for multi-purpose use—from face to feet. It’s especially beneficial for dry patches, sensitive areas, and hormonally affected skin.

Q: Why does my balm feel grainy?
A: Slight graininess may occur if the balm is exposed to temperature fluctuations. This is normal for natural, water-free products and does not affect performance or safety.
